Hi! I'd like to take a moment to introduce myself. My name is Meg Williams and I am a junior at Texas Christian University.
I am double majoring in English and News & Media Studies, along with being very involved in leadership opportunities with my sorority, Kappa Alpha Theta. Yes, I am "that one girl" who came to Texas from South Dakota and I couldn't be happier about my decision. Texas is full of endless possibilities, great food, and much better weather.

My experience at TCU has been nothing short of incredible, and I have my professors, organizations, and friends/peers to thank for that! I love exploring Forth Worth, getting involved in leadership positions, and supporting friends as we begin carving our paths beyond college. One of my favorite opportunities that I have had was being PR Director for Theta's biggest fundraising event, the annual CASA 5K. For this event, I... - Design, create, and distribute 700+ postcards to DFW Theta alumnae - Design PR t-shirts, race day runner shirts, and PR stickers - Develop new ways to promote the CASA 5K (postcards, QR code, yard sign) - Manage social media advertisements and digital marketing Now, with the help of gained knowledge from this position, I have taken on the exciting role as Theta's 2019 Recruitment Director. It has been wonderful experience leading women, younger and older, as well as getting the chance to take lead in growing our chapter in the fall.
